Hence the rise of Lanzarote’s Art, Culture and Tourism Centres: Cueva de los Verdes, the Fire Mountains, Cactus Garden, among others, as well as countless works of art.

His first and greatest project, Jameos del Agua, is an example of the respect César Manrique held for the island’s natural qualities. He transformed a lava tunnel into an enclave where the volcanic environment can be admired from within. An extraordinary sight visited by millions of people annually, to admire its enigmatic beauty. Jameos del Agua exemplifies a perfect balance between art and nature.

LZTFW is a weekend experience where fashion, technology, music and gastronomy blend in harmony with nature. An event organised by CACT Lanzarote and sponsored by Turismo Lanzarote, it demonstrates Lanzarote’s significance in the fashion world, as a unique and distinctive backdrop, with endless possibilities.

What happens during the Lanzarote Fashion Weekend?A fashion show in a setting to die for, a dinner where you can savour the best of Lanzarote’s cuisine and a DJ party inside Jameos del Agua’s volcanic tunnel.

The exclusive fashion show kicks off the evening and is held inside the auditorium. The swimming pool area, designed by César Manrique, will be the setting for dinner, where you can savour local products carefully prepared by the CACT Lanzarote chefs. The event draws to a close with a DJ party inside the volcanic tunnel.
